1. The Service

Carpentry Calculator provides jobsite calculation tools for carpenters, framers, remodelers, builders, and DIY woodworkers. The app includes calculators for stair stringers, rafters, board feet, stud and joist layout, sheet goods, concrete, square-up diagonals, unit conversion, fractions, feet-inch tape math, job takeoffs, and crown miter settings.

This website provides information about the app, support resources, and legal policies.

2. No professional advice

Calculator results are for reference only. You must verify measurements, material conditions, and local building codes before cutting, ordering materials, or building. Carpentry Calculator does not provide engineering, architectural, or code-compliance advice. IRC reference warnings are informational references only — always confirm requirements with your local building authority.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to reverse-engineer the app, redistribute it in violation of Apple's terms, or use it for unlawful purposes.

4. Free features and Pro upgrade

All twelve core calculators are free and work offline. Optional Pro is a one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase — not a subscription. Pro unlocks workflow features such as unlimited saved job records, diagram PDF exports, and custom IRC reference limits.

Pricing is displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase. Apple handles payment processing and refunds according to Apple's policies.

5. Apple App Store terms

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.

6. Intellectual property

Carpentry Calculator, including its software, diagrams, branding, and website content, is owned by CodeMXM and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of calculations for your specific project conditions. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeMXM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including material waste, rework, or project delays arising from reliance on calculator results.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the app, website, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page.
